Saber Mohammed, an Iraqi nationalist who opposed Saddam Hussein, pleaded guilty to agreeing to help facilitate Islamic extremism in Brussels in 2004.
Mohammed had been approached in 2001 by Moussa Zemmouri and Driss Elatellah in a Belgian mosque, and asked if he would take a cell phone for them, answer calls, and pass on any messages to them.[1] In June 2001 he fielded three such calls from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, as well as a number of calls from Sami Essid.[1]
